Dr. Loveena Rastogi
Dr. Loveena Rastogi earned her Bachelor of Science from Agra College in India and her dental degree from the College of Dental Medicine at Columbia University. She received advanced training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Southern California.
Dr. Rastogi has earned her PALS certification, BLS certification and certificate of excellence in oral pathology. She is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and participated in Give Kids a Smile. She has also volunteered for the Red Cross Society.
Dr. Rastogi pursued a career in dentistry because she had a wonderful and pain-free extraction as a child and remembers wanting to be just like her dentist after that experience. She also had a family member who needed prosthetic teeth, due to trauma, and she saw how the prosthesis brought back their self-confidence. She saw how dental treatment could change lives, instill confidence in people, relieve pain and help improve their self-esteem. She decided she wanted to be that person and it motivated her to become a dentist. She feels one can do anything if they put their heart and soul into it. She restarted her life when she moved from India and she was still able to pursue her dreams, despite the ups and downs she faced. She believes her resiliency, adaptability and ability to stay focused helped her along the way.
Dr. Rastogi feels that dentistry is both an art and science, two things that she loves deeply. She feels she is an empathetic person and dentistry gives her the opportunity to connect to people. As a pediatric dentist, she helps develop confidence in a frightened child and helps both the child and the parent feel at ease. She is so happy to be able to bring smiles to the faces of the children she gets the opportunity to work with. Other than restorative dentistry, a few of her specialties include her experience in working under different levels of sedation. She also has experiences in performing hospital dentistry and behavioral management in infants, toddlers and children with special needs.
Outside of work, Dr. Rastogi loves to hike, go for long walks, travel, paint nature on cavasses, cook, do arts and crafts and spend time with her family. She also has a passion to serve the underprivileged. She looks forward to serving on a mission trip in the future. Dr. Rastogi also speaks Hindi, Urdu and basic level Spanish.
Dr. Scott Elliott
Scott J. Elliott, D.D.S., attended Eastern New Mexico University, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management. He worked as a Practice Manager for a general dentist practice and decided to further his career as a dentist. His first year of dental school was completed at Midwestern University (Chicago, IL). He then attended Virginia Commonwealth University (Richmond, VA) to relocate with his wife, Elizabeth, who was stationed in the area with the Army.
It was the Hospitality foundation that attracted him to dentistry. Through his experience in hospitality, he was able to cultivate and maintain relationships with each and every person that walks through the door.
"There is nothing better than getting the opportunity to become familiar with my patients, while also improving their wonderful and unique smiles! Over the years, I have witnessed countless patients' complete treatment that changed the way they felt about themselves. The patient becomes more confident and comfortable with their smile, which translated to becoming more confident and comfortable as humans. I am reminded daily why I MUST be part of this incredible field."
Dr. Elliott is dedicated to ongoing education, training, and professional memberships. He is certified in Implant placement and restoration, Invisalign, SureSmile, Nitrous Oxide and oral sedation.
When Dr. Elliott is not in the office creating beautiful smiles, he spends his time with his family. He and Elizabeth have two sons, Oliver and Theodore. Hobbies of Dr. Elliott are playing French Horn, Soccer, and cooking (ask him about his Baby Back Ribs...)!
Dr. Elliott is an Army Reservist with the Dental Corps, and has served since 2018.
